CELL SAFE CORD BLOOD BANK IS THE FIRST CORD BLOOD BANK IN EGYPT AND THE MIDDLE EAST.
It was established in 2009 by Prof. Sherif Naseh Amin and Prof. Hisham Hassan Issa. The Bank acquired its license from the Ministry of Health in 2009.
Following the death of one of the founders' best friends, who passed away in 2008 after a long battle with leukemia, due to the lack of a matching stem cell donor, they set out to create a stem cell bank.
GATHERING FOR A BIGGER CAUSE.
In collaboration with several of their closest friends, Prof. Sherif Naseh Amin and Prof. Hisham Hassan Issa addressed a group of prominent doctors to participate in this project that would change the medical history of Egypt.
